I wish I were born 20 years earlier so I could have lived through the time when movie magic existed. The time when you had no fucking clue how something was done, and it took more than a team of people sitting at computers for a few months.
It makes me sad when I watch older movies and realize the magical special effects maestros aren’t really required anymore.

I always get really damn depressed on my birthday. It’s probably the most depressing day of the year for me. I used to not care, but it’s been depressing the last few years. I can’t remember the last time I was actually able to have any form of celebration(big or small, last was probably 9 years ago), which as I get older, makes me realize I have no good birthday memories. It’s also one of those annoying days that brings about “contemplation” about life, and I really don’t like thinking about that, because thinking about my life is a depressing endeavor.
So once again, it’s a problem brought on by old age. I demand somebody bring me a giant ice cream cake to eat after work. Giant ice cream cakes always make the world better.

Why? Well, many reasons, really. The darkness and relative quietness is soothing(although it’d be nice to live somewhere with a few 24h diners or something).
But more importantly, it’s the one time of day when music channels are actually music channels. And since it’s 3am and nobody is awake, they actually play some pretty not-shitty stuff.

I personally like #10. It’s good to know that when I’m bald in a couple years, I can curse all those damn kids to death.
Hell, this power might be abused, and I may or may not doom the human race by summoning bear maulings at every kid I meet.
